Went to settle my cravings for Sushi Zanmai last friday. Along with that we dropped by Shojikiya(a japanese confectionary store), where I saw these really cute sweets/pocky packaged with the Halloween theme. I was really tempted to buy them, cause I usually just buy things for how cute they are, but it was kinda pricy (;´Д｀;) So, I just resorted to pictures =D





I still haven't gotten around to uploading the photos from a Tieria photoshoot I had last month. But heres a sneak peek. So, I'm really not that lazy okay? XDD

So this is Anime Hanabi Festival that was held on the 19th & 20th Nov at Times Square. I went as circus!Sebastian (Day 1), and TYL!Mukuro (Day 2). The event itself was so-so, but I quite enjoyed myself with the people there! =) Not many pictures of Day 1, considering I brought my camera, but somehow, most of it turned out blur. So all the pictures here will be on Day 2 =D

I didn't bother to resize them accordingly, so this whole post is kinda messy, but I hope you guys enjoy the pictures =)

I finally got this cosplay done! The wig's been sitting happily in my closet for the past 2 years! and it's 3.45am over here, and my feet hurts! So, goodnight dearies, and I'll see you all tomorrow =D

Haven't been around this vicinity in a while now. I hope you all missed me terribly ヽ(´ー`)ノ A bit on real life, my exams are coming up middle of next month, and naturally, I still haven't covered most of my notes =(  and in addiction to that, I'll also be having exams from the 28th Dec all the way till New Years eve, which means, NO CHRISTMAS again for me this year again (;´Д｀;)  Sometimes, I really regret getting into IMU. Plus, apparently the Australian universities are planing to not allow foreigners to stay back for housemanship after their graduation starting year 2012, which was what I was aiming to do once I got there. That has gotten me more than a little worried for my future. All my friends staying/studying at Aussie, have you guys heard anything bout this? 

Now back to the main topic which is Ayakashi! I know its a pretty old show, but I never got to watch it until I saw a snipet on youtube by accident recently. and I've fallen in love with it.period XD For those who haven't watched it, its basically derived of 3 classical japanese horror stories, though I've only watched the third story, Bakeneko. Not surprising that the first thing that caught my attention was Sakurai Takahiro voicing for  the くすりうり (Medicine seller), and I think I much prefer his performance in this anime. Personally, I found it amazing how he made even a simple conversation sound so mysteriously mysterious (〃∇〃)  In other words, he was just AWESOME.period XD The story itself was really good too! and the style of animation was unique, whereby everything was kinda picturesque, which totally made it even scarier. Please do watch it if you haven't =D

It's finally the holidays~! XD XD I'm having the whole week off, but will be spending half of it at Singapore~!!! Its good to finally have a break after a whole 2 months plus of non-stop studying.

Here are 2 pictures taken from GACC'09 where I did Schneizel. The were both taken by Hani, and I can't be too bothered to edit the rest. I'm definately going to have this re-done. On the event day itself, I spent most of the day practicing for the Code Geass skit I was involved it, and after that had to go back early coz I was taking the bus. So when the mini photoshoot came after the skit, I was bloody exhausted =( So a re-do it is!! =) Also, many thanks to guki for the wig and loads of other stuff =)

Haven't been here for a while. Been so caught up with my studies, and going out once every weekend makes a very lazy and boneless me *_* Our course has just finished the Cardiovascular system (Heart & the works), and I'm glad this system is finally over with!! It has totally squished all my hopeful dreams of someday going into cardiac surgery =_= So thats another route striked out, along with gyny & pediatrics.

ANYWAYS, here are a few purikuras snapped over the past 3-4 weeks(?), including the one we took right after the mini Kuroshitsuji photoshoot =) Also, MY TIERIA WIG HAS ARRIVED!!!!! WEEEE~~~ XD XD and its gorgeous~ its so nice and soft, it's even got a better texture than my real hair!! So naturally, this leads to massive cam-whoring and even more cam-whoring! XD XD

Still recovering from Bon Odori =/  Had a high fever right after getting back, and started having runny nose and cough due to all the dust in the air. Of course, my body is aching all over =( Had quite a few bad experiences this year which was totally off putting, but we managed to compensate all that by bumping into cute japanese guys~

The bad experiences :
1. CRAZY STALKING PHOTOGRAHERS!! Honestly, would it hurt to at least ask permission to snap pictures rather than sneaking up from behind and snapping away, WHILE WE ARE STILL EATING?! That was just down-right rude! and we had quite a few of that. There was even a dude who attempted to get our emails and FB acc.

2. The amount of dust in the air =_= You could practically see all the dust particles...hence the coughing, wheezing & sore throat. =(

3. Hello ladies, which part of NO HEELS ALLOWED do you not understand?! I swear, each year, they get even more bimbo along with the flaunting of stilettos. >(

4. SCREAMING NUISANCES. Me & Zhi Wen went dancing for a while and by the end of the first song, the whole hoard of youngsters behind us started screaming like crazy. It was literally like a football screaming match!! and it was practically in your ear!!! We then went over to the other side, but could still hear them =_= Why can't you kids respect the fact that you're at a very symbolic japanese festival and try to at least practice a bit of decency?!

The pretty damn GOOD experiences : 
1. Being mistaken for a japanese BY a japanese~ *hearts* and it was by a cute japanese guy XD

2. Same cute japanese guy wanted pictures of us, and I actually managed to start a conversation in japanese with them(2 of them)~ plus, I haven't spoken to a japanese in a long time, so I was nervous as hell! Upon asking, they've been in M'sia for bout 3 years, studying english at Sunway~~~~ (Current Mision : Transfer to Sunway campus!!! XD XD HAHA)

3. I got to meet up with everyone I had planned to meet with that night~ *hearts*

4. Got to eat MACCHA ICE CREAM and YAKISOBA~ though the yakisoba tasted dreadful, but at least I got to satisfy the craving XD

Rewatching Natsume Yuujinchou~ KAMIYAN KAMIYAN KAMIYAN~~~~*hearts*

This is the Mukuro version I did for Daicon. I think of all my last minute decisions, this was the best; only decided on it 2 days prior to Daicon *swt* then went for the purple top hunting with Zhi Wen the day before Daicon. The props used were all real, meaning that if the syringe (injection thingy) were to accidently drop and hit skin, then we'd be having a massive bleeding issue and loads of screaming XD And of course, from my previous post, you'll know that my boots failed on me half way through the event T-T So I had to drag my left foot the rest of the day. By the end of the event, 3/4 of the front part had already come off.

I didn't get to see the seiyuu, but my friend got a glimpse of her. Apparently shes totally different in real life. In the promo video they had of her, she had this air of confidence around her, and looked tall and imposing. But in real life, she was really timid and very cute japanese school girl-ish. Plus, she had this hoard of body guards surrounding her. We could hear the screaming fans from outside lols

The event itself was OK. There weren't that many booths to kill our time with, but the Karaoke sessions was pretty interesting. We had some pretty good voices and some pretty dreadful ones =_= There was good air-conditioning, so didn't sweat much eventhough the labcoat itself would have killed me. They had this really cute maid cafe at the side of the hall which probably made hell loads of money with the amount of poeple going in and out. We mostly spent our time cam-whoring outside, and there weren't all that many cosplayers there either. Sad part is the lack of camera man on my part, hence the sadly low quality pictures T-T but we still had fun! ^^

Anyways, I don't know if they're any avid Gundam OO fans reading this, but do listen to lastest Drama CD (3rd) that came out, coz its hilarious!!! Even for those of you who don't watch the show, but appreciate seiyuus, this dramacd is a MUST HEAR!! You don't really need to watch the show to understand this dramacd, coz it's not really related. Though naturally, it'll be even more hilarious if you knew the characters. But point is the seiyuu!crack, BL(yes! BL!! XD) and all that insanity!
   
I can't believe its an official drama CD with the amount of BL suggestions in it! The BL goodness from the 1st is nothing compared to this one. The sound of Nakamura Yuuichi molesting harassing Miyano Mamoru was bloody funny! and MY GOD is Nakamura insane! He's totally outdone himself in the insane/crack department! In the drama, he practically pounces on all the bishounen! XD I couldn't stop laughing when he somewhat suggested a threesome XD XD Listening to Miyano's "CHORISU~" totally killed my brain cells; Now I REALLY want to hear him take on uke roles! T-T Don't get me started on Kamiyan, he seriously killed my brain cells~ *_*

Also, RIP MJ! Thank you for the fabulous music! You were and always will be the BEST!

I went to a Maid Cafe when I was at Akihabara, but didn't manage to find a Butler Cafe until we stumbled unto a few 'butlers'(they were gorgeous!!XD) handing out fliers at the Akiba JR Station~ but by then we were already heading back home, and it was our last day T-T

It'll be nice if I had the chance to actually work at such a place!! Byou would probably be a regular customer then, no? HAHA
There are other vids on the Butler Cafes, but the amount of girls squealing in the background was crazy! XD

Anyhow, kitty picture again! she is less fat here, no? XD

It's Haine from Dogs: Bullets & Carnage~ *hearts* Well, this is a snipet from the OVA(2nd one), where they only showed a small bit of him. I was 'WTH' when they didn't even give him enough screen time to speak, not even through the phone T-T and thats partly coz Sakurai Takahiro is voicing him!!!!!.........they'll probably compensate for that when the 3rd one is out, where the story will be on Haine, but still!! I wanna hear Sakurai!Haine now!!!!! *_* On others, Ishida Akira did a pretty good job at voicing Badou's sillyness XD It was quite fun listening to him voice out the scene where Badou was being chased on the roof! Also, what he did with Badou's trademark 'tabako~' was spot-on! XD
 
Now, on the Movie Carnival, which was held at Sunway Pyramid, I joined the HP Team and also the March that had us walking round Pyramid(not the whole area!). The whole Movie Carnival lasted about 2 weeks or so, but I only went for the last day, which was on Sunday. There were quite a lot of other characters from other movies, like Batman(Joker), Star Wars, Night at the Museum2, Harry Potter, Narnia, etc. Here are a few pictures of the event :

Anyways, on to a little bit of Anime! I recently rewatched Get Backers, which I haven't touched for a very long time! And I'm quite surprised to find that it's a lot more enjoyable for me, this second time around! I think it's partly due to the seiyuus, since I wasn't all that bothered bout seiyuu when I first watched it XD And OMG! How could I have missed all that sexual tension among the characters!! I mean, almost all the guy characters are hot beyond hot, and all that silent attraction and chemistry between certain characters really doesn't help the situation! Or maybe it's just me, seeing yaoi in everything....sigh.

I’m wondering if I should go for Animangaki thats happening at the end of this month. I'd definately go if I cosplayed, but I haven't got anything new  and I don't feel like recycling my older costumes T-T


 

 

After a lot of not-bothered-ness, I finally upgraded my account to a Plus Account! XD I know, slow right? Since the first time I got this account, I never thought it made much of a difference, but gosh! Now I have 15 slots of icons I can put up! How could I have missed that? So, naturally I uploaded a whole bunch of Code Geass and Natsume Yuujinchou icons! XD

Anyways, I remember rinka88  posting up this picture on a pretty good Cloud cosplayer, so darling, heres a few I found on my 'cosplay' folder, which my sis went bonkers over! But you've probably already seen the dude, I think he goes by the name Kaname. I don't know much bout him though, but I've seen his Ichigo(Bleach) cosplay, and it's awesome! XD
